The balance, the way it rests on the bottom, and the movement it has when we animate it... When we went underwater to test its performance, we had no doubt that we were dealing with a great egi.

Great balance on the descent: Its descent is very stable, maintaining a 45-degree angle when the spool catch is closed. The sinking speed, around 3.5 to 4 s/m, is a good balance for the egi to sink deeper, but slow enough for the squid to locate it and attack.

Resting on the bottom: Don't be afraid to let it rest on the bottom for long periods; rest assured it's still fishing. The Crazee Squid Egi maintains a perfect 45° angle while resting, which is ideal for squid attacks. It rests on only one point of its leader, so any current or vibration in the water causes it to rotate on its resting point, giving the sensation of a live fish feeding on the bottom. This is why it continues to fish so well while we let it rest on the bottom. This position, with its crowns so raised, also prevents many snags.

Zing movements: During jerks, the Crazee Squid Egi easily performs very pronounced zing movements. Whether rising, by jerking upward, or maintaining depth, by jerking parallel to the water's surface.

Soft and sharp crown: Yes, yes, I said soft... and those who know this world well know that good crowns are those that open when hooked to the bottom. The difficult part is making them hard enough to hold a good squid without opening and, conversely, being able to open them when hooked to the bottom, even with thin braid, thus retrieving the egi. Crazee Squid Egi are manufactured with the right hardness to achieve this goal while maintaining a high level of sharpness.

Color range: Another aspect of their Japanese design, as it indicates both the base color, so important in egi fishing, and the exterior color. A varied palette with colors to adapt to any fishing situation. The base colors include gold, red, rainbow, UV, and glow (luminescent).
