DescriptionThe new Mercury (available in 3.90 and 4.20 metre lengths) is not only a high-performance, lightweight and extremely attractive tool from every point of view (both aesthetically and functionally), but also a match rod that provides maximum performance with weights of up to 20 grams and terminals no larger than 0.14 in diameter. Because it was specifically designed to give its best within these terms and because its action, which is semi-parabolic and progressive, favours retrieving considerable prey even with rather thin nylons. The cork/EVA blend handle ensures the best grip in all conditions and the finish is worthy of superior tools. But the most obvious fact is that the new Mercury is certainly one of the most beautiful match rods around, given its price and quality.
