UNITIKA Mono U-Tec Shin-Saya

Unitika's U-Tec Shin-Saya is a hybrid nylon monofilament line with an ester core.

A revolution in monofilament lines, it combines the advantages of both types of lines, combining the flexibility and strength of nylon with the low stretch and sensitivity of ester.

Ester has less stretch than nylon or fluorocarbon, and nylon has high abrasion resistance.

When and why should you use Unitika's U-Tec Shin-Saya?

This hybrid monofilament line offers several advantages that make it ideal for a wide range of fishing scenarios.

• High sensitivity: Its ester core provides low stretch, resulting in excellent bite sensitivity and easy lure handling. • High abrasion resistance: This quality, provided by the outer layer of nylon, makes it ideal for fishing in areas with rocks or cover. It withstands friction much better than braid or polyester.

• High knot strength: Allows you to use it without the need for a leader.
